Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to converse in two languages led to her obtaining the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant production at Univision. In her position she was given the chance to collaborate with national program producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was promoted to reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. Then, in 2009 the news reporter relocated to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. Later, she was anchor and reporter for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was given more responsibilities. She did pieces on MLB's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. She was a host of sports on the morning show on Despierta America Deportes. The same job was held in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents come from Veracruz Mexico. The family relocated to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She is the elder sibling of her parents. The family moved to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. In 1992, her parents separated then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The time of summer when she was with her sister at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten an employment. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she would like her life to look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine whether the university was suitable for her. In the end, she fell in love with the university. They also offered her a major. After graduation, she went to the University as an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for many years, became her friend. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence and whose passion in Journalism touched her deeply. As a result, she determined to meet his demands, never letting him down.
